At Letter Box Learning, we strive to give children the opportunity to reach their potential. We want children to begin on a learning path that will interlock with later formal education through using current practices in Australian literacy, applied by qualified teachers. We aim to provide a partnership with children's health and development professionals and quality early childhood services who can maintain their philosophy and offer a supplement to their program or services.
•Letter Box Learning is a unique approach to exploring the concepts of literacy by immersing children in language and sounds, activating the emerging reader.
•Co + Co believe that the materials that children engage with can influence the learning. We place a strong emphasis on the resources and environment we create.
•The Letter Box Learning program is designed and taught by passionate, qualified teachers.
•We aim for children to learn through exploration, play and creativity by respecting their full potential and capability to build their own knowledge theories.
•At Letter Box Learning we work co-operatively as educators, with children and parents to co construct literacy concepts. Parent involvement leads to fuller and more effective educational methods.
•Immersing children in literacy through different senses; sound, tactile touch, rhythm, movement, repetition in a fun, nurturing, play based setting.
•Letter Box Learning sessions provide a time for parents to commit to building their children’s literacy exposure, with the support and guidance of qualified teaching staff.
